The Ford Foundation

You can find us at C 188, Iris Villa, which is tucked away in Mayfield Gardens in Sector 50. It’s a nice enough spot in Gurgaon and feels a bit different from the usual office blocks. We have a regular routine here at The Ford Foundation where we come in, check the mail, and get started on whatever is on the list for the day. Haryana weather can be pretty intense, so we are glad for the roof over our heads. The office is inside a villa, so it has a bit of a homey feel, which is quite nice actually. We sit at our desks and deal with all the paperwork and coordination that comes our way. There are no big signs or flashy lights, just a place to work. Most of the people here have been around for a while and we have a good rhythm going. We don’t really do the corporate talk thing; we just talk like normal people do. If someone is making tea, they usually ask if anyone else wants a cup. Mayfield Gardens is a quiet area mostly, which helps when you need to concentrate on a long report or a difficult task. We are just here doing our bit and making sure the operations run like they are supposed to. It is not always perfect, but we put in the effort and get things handled eventually. We like the local vibe and staying away from the main traffic.
