The Bristol Hotel Gurgaon

You can find us over at A-323 in Kendriya Vihar, which is in Sector 56 of Gurgaon. It is a bit of a different setup for a hotel office, being in a residential area like this, but it works for the way we handle things. The Bristol Hotel Gurgaon has its main operations, but this spot in Haryana is where a lot of the behind-the-scenes stuff happens. We deal with a lot of the logistical bits and pieces from this apartment-style office. Sector 56 is a busy place, but Kendriya Vihar has its own little community feel that we’ve grown to like over the years. There are always people walking around and it feels more like a home than a workplace sometimes. We don't have a big lobby here or anything like that. It’s just desks, computers, and a lot of files that need organizing. We spend our days talking to staff and making sure the supplies are coming in right. It is a lot of practical work. Sometimes the elevator in the building takes a while, so we just wait and chat. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy glass building. We just want to make sure the work gets done correctly so everything at the hotel runs like it should. It is a steady job and we are happy to be doing it here. The neighborhood is quiet enough that we can actually get our work done.
