Taj Mahal Hotel

We are at House No 491 in Sector 21. It is a residential area in Gurgaon so it stays pretty quiet compared to the main roads. Taj Mahal Hotel is basically run out of this building. There are a few floors and we keep the rooms clean for whoever comes to stay. Mostly people come here because they have work nearby or need a place that isn't too loud. The front gate is where everyone enters and we have a small desk where we keep the register. You can see the street from the balconies. Sometimes the neighbors are out walking. It isn't a huge place with fancy lobbies, just a regular building where we do our work every day. We spend a lot of time checking the linens and making sure the water is running right. Haryana gets hot in the summer so the fans are always going. Usually, things are pretty calm here. We have some plants near the entrance that need watering every morning. The staff stays in the back or near the office area. If you look for Sector 21, you will find us easily enough near the other houses. We have been here for a while and know the area well. It is just a practical spot for people who need a bed and a roof. Nothing too complicated about it. We just open up in the morning and close things down at night after the last guest is in. It is just how we do things here.
