Being out here in 384, Sector-7, Imt Manesar means we are right in the middle of everything industrial. Surya Exim Pvt. Ltd. is basically just a group of us working in this office every day. The walk from the main road can be a bit dusty depending on the weather, but you get used to it. Inside, it is usually quiet until the phones start ringing around mid-morning. We spend a lot of time on the computer or checking things in the back storage area. Manesar has its own rhythm, and we have definitely become part of it over the years. Some days are slow and we just tidy up the place, while other days feel like we are constantly playing catch-up with the clock. We don’t have a big corporate lobby or anything impressive to show off. It is just desks, chairs, and a lot of coffee to keep us going. We mostly deal with the same people we have known for years. The guys in the warehouse know exactly how we like things packed before they leave. We try to stay organized, but sometimes the paperwork piles up on the corner desk when we get a big order. It is a real place with real people who sometimes forget where they put their pens. We just do what needs to be done to keep the shipments moving. Most of us have been here long enough that it just feels like home.
