Supervisior

This is where we run things from inside the Trident Hilton here in Gurgaon. It’s a big place, and being in the supervisor role means there is always something that needs fixing or someone who needs help. We don’t have a separate street address because we are right in the middle of the hotel property. It’s a busy environment. One minute you’re checking on the lobby and the next you’re down in the back hallways making sure the supplies arrived on time. We are a small group of staff who just try to keep the wheels turning. We don’t really do marketing or anything like that. Our day is mostly spent on our feet, walking from one end of the building to the other. Gurgaon is a place that never really sleeps, and the hotel is the same way. We’ve been working here for a long time and we know every corner of the building. It’s not always glamorous work, despite the fancy name on the front of the hotel. There is a lot of paperwork and a lot of coordinating between different departments. We just try to be practical and solve problems as they come up. We don’t have a big philosophy about it. We just want the day to go smoothly for everyone who comes through the doors. It’s a lot of responsibility, but we’re used to the pace by now.
