You can find us at number 9 in Model Town, right on Station Road in Kota. Rajasthan is known for being hot, and this office is no exception during the summer months. Starwood Hotels & Resort Pvt Ltd is the name on the front, but inside it’s just a normal workplace. We are close to the station, so you can sometimes hear the trains in the distance. The building is an older one with high ceilings which helps a bit with the heat. We have a few desks scattered around and a big table where we keep the mail. It’s not a luxury suite; it’s where the actual work of the company happens. We deal with a lot of phone calls and ledger books. The floor is made of old stone that stays cool even when it is boiling outside. We have a small corner for making tea and keeping a few snacks for the afternoon. Most of us have lived in Kota for years, so we know the area well. We don't go in for big speeches or fancy missions. We just show up, do the tasks for the hotels, and head home when the sun goes down. The street outside is always full of cycles and people heading to the station. It’s a lively spot to be in.
