We are based at D-703, Sujjan Vihar, in Sector 43, Gurgaon. Starwood Asia Pacific Hotels & Resorts Pte.Ltd uses this space as a local office. It’s a flat in a residential complex, which makes it feel much more relaxed than a typical corporate headquarters. Sector 43 is a well-known part of Gurgaon, and it’s easy to get to. Our office is on the seventh floor. It’s not a huge space, but it fits our small team perfectly. We have our desks set up in the main room, and we use the smaller rooms for storage and files. We deal with a lot of coordination for hotels and resorts. Most of our work involves emails and phone calls. We don't have a fancy reception area. If someone visits, we just pull up an extra chair. It’s a very simple way to operate. We have a kettle for tea and a small fridge for our lunches. The atmosphere is quiet, which helps when we have to focus on big reports. We don't use a lot of marketing language or fancy titles. We just do our jobs and try to keep things running smoothly. Outside the window, you can see the other buildings in Sujjan Vihar. It’s a very normal, everyday kind of place. We like it because it’s straightforward and doesn't have any of the usual office politics or noise.
