Spicejet Limited

Our office is over at C-44 in Shanti Kunj, which is part of Rama Park in Uttam Nagar. If you know the area, it’s pretty crowded and there’s always something happening on the streets. We’ve been operating from this New Delhi address for some time. It’s a simple setup, nothing like those big glass buildings you see in the city center. We deal with all the Spicejet logistics and paperwork from here. The rooms are a bit small and we have files stacked up in the corners. On rainy days, the lane outside gets a bit muddy, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. Most of us take the metro to work because parking a car near Rama Park is a real headache. We have a couple of ceiling fans that make a lot of noise, but they keep us cool enough. It’s a lot of typing and phone calls throughout the day. We usually get our lunch from the small shops nearby or bring it from home. The neighbors are mostly families, so it feels more like a residential area than a business hub. We aren't trying to impress anyone with the decor; we just focus on getting the work finished so we can go home to our families. Sometimes the electricity goes out for an hour, and we just sit and talk until it comes back on. It’s a simple life here in Uttam Nagar and we get by.
