Spice Jet

Our office is over at 2/49 Shivaji Nagar in Gurgaon. It’s right there in Haryana, 122001 if you’re looking at the mail. We’ve been in this spot for a bit, handling the daily chores that come with running an airline. It isn't always about the flying; there is so much admin work that happens in these rooms. We take care of ticket stuff, scheduling, and all those small details that people don't see when they're at the gate. Shivaji Nagar is a busy area, so there is always something going on outside our windows. Inside, it's just us sitting at our desks, usually with a lot of papers and coffee mugs. We try to keep the workflow steady even when things get hectic with flight changes. It’s a plain building, nothing too special to look at, but it works for what we need. The staff here are mostly locals who know the area well. We talk to passengers on the phone all day and try to help them figure out their travel plans without making it too complicated. It’s a lot of data entry and phone calls, really. Sometimes the power goes out or the computers act up, but we just deal with it and keep going. We aren't a big corporate headquarters, just a local branch office doing the daily grind. It feels like a small community in here even though the airline is large. The building is a bit older, so we sometimes fix a leaky tap or deal with a flickering light.
