Our place is No. 303 in the DLF City Court, right there in Sikandarpur on MG Road. It is a tall building and we are up on the third floor. Sitara Impex Pvt. Ltd. has been operating from this suite for some time. Being on MG Road means we see the metro trains go by every few minutes. It is a fast-paced area and our office feels like that too. We handle a lot of import and export logistics. Most of the day is spent on the phone or looking at spreadsheets. The office has a lot of windows so we get plenty of sunlight, which is nice. We have a few desks and a table where we stack the latest catalogs. The elevators can be slow in the morning when everyone is arriving. We usually grab lunch from the stalls downstairs. There is a lot of paperwork involved in being a private limited company in this sector. We keep our records in the big metal cabinets against the back wall. It is not a very quiet place because of the city sounds coming in. We don't have a fancy lounge or anything, just a few chairs for when someone visits. The carpet is a bit worn in the spots where we walk the most. We just keep moving and making sure the goods get where they are supposed to go.
