Shining Star Residency

We've been here in Aginchok-8 for a while now. Most people know us in Dhading. It's not a fancy place but we keep the rooms clean. Life up here in Bagmati can be slow. We mostly see travelers passing through or folks visiting family. My brother and I run the front desk usually. Sometimes the power goes out but that's just how it is in the hills. We have some beds and a bit of food if you're hungry. It’s quiet at night, mostly just the sounds of the town. We don't have a big website or anything like that. Just this building on the road. People find us when they need a place to sleep. We try to keep the water warm for showers. It gets cold here in the winter months. You can see the mountains sometimes when the sky clears up. We just do our work every day. There isn't much to say. If you are in this part of Nepal and need a spot to stay, you'll see our sign for Shining Star Residency. We've lived in this area our whole lives so we know the roads well. It's a simple life here. We just keep the doors open and hope for good weather. Not much else to tell you. Just a small spot in a small town. We don't have fancy uniforms. We cook some dal bhat if you ask. The goats walk by the front door sometimes. It's just a normal place for normal people.
