I work as a Senior Research Fellow over at the CCS HAU campus in Hisar. My specific spot is at 8/26 in the New Campus area. It’s a quiet place, which is good because research takes a lot of concentration. This isn't a company in the traditional sense, but more of an academic office where we dig into agricultural studies and data. The campus is quite large and green, so walking to the office in the morning is actually nice. The office itself is filled with books, stacks of papers, and folders that have been sitting there for months. We have a couple of old desks and a computer that we all share. Most of my time is spent reading, writing up findings, or talking to students who come by with questions. It’s a very academic environment, so there’s no talk of sales or marketing here. We just care about the results of the experiments and getting the reports done on time. Sometimes the internet is slow, and we end up just chatting about the weather or the latest news on campus while we wait for things to load. It’s a steady, slow-paced kind of life compared to the big city. We just keep working on our projects and trying to contribute something useful to the field from our small corner here in Haryana. It can be tedious at times when the data doesn't make sense, but we just keep at it until we figure things out. My colleagues and I usually have tea together.
