Our place is located at 1404 in Sector 4, Urban Estate. It feels more like a regular neighborhood than a cold business district, which is something we actually enjoy. It’s quieter here than it is in the main city center, and you can actually hear the birds sometimes in the morning. We’ve set up our workspace here to handle our overseas trade business. It’s not a huge operation, just a few of us making sure that everything stays on track. We spend a lot of time on the computer checking schedules and talking to people in different time zones. Sometimes that means staying a bit late or coming in early when the rest of the sector is still asleep. The office has big windows, but we usually keep the curtains half-closed to stop the glare on the screens. We have a lot of folders and binders everywhere because we still like having things on paper. It makes it easier to find stuff when things get busy. Dealing with international shipping has its ups and downs, and we’ve seen our fair share of delays and paperwork snags over the years. We don’t pretend to have all the answers, but we’ve been at this long enough to know how to handle the common issues. We just focus on the task at hand and try to stay organized without making things too complicated for ourselves or the people we work with.
