Out here on Gauhala Road in Mohinder Garh, things move a bit slower than in the big cities. This school is a place where the kids from the local area come to learn their lessons every day. It’s tucked away in Haryana with the 123029 pin code. You can usually hear the sound of children playing or teachers calling out names from the hallway. We have a simple setup because that’s all you really need to get some studying done. The building has been here for a bit, and it shows its age in some corners, but it’s a solid place. We don't have those massive fancy billboards or anything like that. It’s mostly just the classrooms, the blackboard, and the playground where the dust kicks up in the afternoon sun. Every morning, the gates open and the parents drop off their children before heading to work in the fields or the local shops. We try to keep things organized, but with a lot of kids running around, there’s always a little bit of chaos, which is just part of the deal. We focus on the basics like reading and writing. It’s a community thing, really. Most of the people working here live nearby, so we know the families and the kids pretty well.
