Sanduja Batteries

Sanduja Batteries is located at Sikandarpur in Shop No 1. It is right at the start of the row of shops there. We have been in Sikandarpur for a long time, watching the area change around us. Our main thing is batteries for cars and home inverters. Since we are in Shop No 1, we see everyone who walks into the market. It is a bit of a dusty spot because of the construction nearby, but we keep the batteries covered up. We have a small bench outside where people sit while we test their old batteries. It takes a bit of time to see if a battery is still good or needs to be replaced. My father started this and now I help run it with some of the workers. We have heavy stacks of lead-acid batteries along the walls. You have to be careful where you step. We keep a toolbox handy for when someone drives up and needs a quick swap. It is not a quiet job, there is always some clanking or the sound of the charger humming. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just know to come to Sanduja Batteries if they are in Sikandarpur. We have a small calendar on the wall and a water cooler in the corner for anyone who is thirsty. That is pretty much it for our daily routine.
