We are located in Krishna Palace, specifically at unit 138. It is one of those buildings where you have to know where you are going or you might get a bit lost in the hallways. Aakriti Marketing Co isn't a massive operation with hundreds of employees. It is just a handful of us working at desks, making phone calls and handling the distribution of goods. The office has a few old wooden desks and some filing cabinets that have seen better days. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to suppliers and trying to figure out why a delivery is running late. It’s a lot of paperwork and tracking numbers most of the time. The tea stall downstairs is where we usually take our breaks when things get a bit too hectic inside. We don’t have fancy marketing brochures or a polished reception area. If someone comes in, they usually just walk straight to the back where we are working. The windows look out over the street, so we see all the traffic and people going about their business. Sometimes the printer jams right when we need to get a list out, which is frustrating, but we manage. We’ve been in this spot for a long time and the routine stays pretty much the same. We just keep up with the orders and make sure the accounts are settled at the end of every month.
