We are over at Shop No. 7 in the Mohar Singh Saini Market. If you are in Saini Khera, you can’t really miss the market; it’s where most people around here do their daily shopping. Our shop is a modest space where we sell a variety of everyday items and some hardware. We’ve been part of this market for a few years now. The market gets very busy on weekends, and it can be hard to even walk through the aisles sometimes. We like the energy of the place, though. It’s a local spot where neighbors catch up and share some news. Our shop is run by a couple of us who have lived in this area our whole lives. We don’t have a website or anything like that. We just open the doors in the morning and wait for people to come in. Most of the time, we’re busy reorganizing the shelves or talking to the other shopkeepers next door about how business is going. It’s a friendly environment. We try to keep things simple. If someone needs a specific tool or some supplies, we help them find it. If we don’t have it in stock, we tell them where they might be able to find it. We aren't trying to sell anyone anything they don't actually need. It’s just about being a useful part of the Saini Khera community and making sure the shop stays open for everyone.
