Super Hardware Sales Corporation

If you head down Basai Road toward the Bara Bazar area, you’ll find us right near the Bhuteshwar Mandir Chowk. Super Hardware Sales Corporation isn’t a huge corporate office, it’s a busy shop filled with tools, pipes, and metal parts. The bells from the mandir are something we hear all day long, especially in the mornings. It’s a crowded part of town, so there is always a lot of noise from the rickshaws and people walking by the front door. We started this place because people in the neighborhood needed a reliable spot to get hardware without traveling too far. The shelves go all the way to the ceiling and sometimes we have to use a very old ladder to reach the stuff at the top. Dust is just part of the job when you deal with iron and steel every day. We don't have a big fancy sign, just the one that’s been there for years. The floor is concrete and usually has some grease marks on it from the various parts we move around. It gets very busy during the festival season because the chowk gets blocked up, but we stay open anyway. Most of our customers are locals who have been buying from us since their fathers were running their own houses. We keep track of everything in big ledgers and try to help everyone find exactly the right screw or bolt they need.
