Our small office for Sahni Exim is at 80-r in New Colony. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes, especially when we have a lot of samples lying around, but we manage just fine. New Colony is a busy place, so there is always something happening outside the window. We spend most of our time on the computer, dealing with various export and import tasks. It’s a lot of clerical work that people don’t usually see, like filling out forms and checking shipping dates. We don’t use any big words or try to act like we’re more than we are. We’re just a local business doing our part in the supply chain. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the floor creaks a little when you walk near the back window, but it’s home to us. We have a small kettle in the corner for making coffee, which is pretty much essential for getting through the afternoon. Most of our clients just call us on the phone, so we don’t get a ton of foot traffic, which is okay because it lets us focus. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s steady and we’ve been doing it at 80-r for quite a while now. We just show up, do the work, and make sure everything is handled properly before we lock up for the night.
