Chawri Bazar is a place where you can barely move some days, and we are right in the middle of it at Chatta Shahji Barshahbulla. Our spot, Rhino, sits at 2366/1 and it has been through a lot of seasons. The lane is narrow and you always hear the sound of bells from the rickshaws passing by. It is old Delhi, so everything feels a bit cramped but alive. We keep the shop open regardless of the weather. Inside, it is just us working through the day. We don't have a big sign or fancy windows. The walls are thick and keep some of the street noise out, but not all of it. People who come here usually know exactly where they are going because it is easy to get lost in these alleys. We spend a lot of time just moving boxes or cleaning the floor. There is always a smell of spices and old wood in the air. Sometimes the monkeys on the roof make a lot of noise. We don't try to be anything special, just a place that does its job in the market. When the sun goes down, the lights in the bazar come on and the whole vibe changes. It is a lot of work staying here, but it is home for us and the business.
