We are based out of 1780 Kalan Mahal in the Darya Ganj area of New Delhi. It’s an old part of the city, very crowded and full of history. Our office is right in the middle of all that chaos. We handle reservation data maintenance, which basically means a lot of time spent looking at screens and making sure numbers and names match up. It’s a lot of back-office work that most people don't see. The building we’re in has seen better days, but it serves our purpose well enough. We’ve got desks squeezed in where they fit, and there's always the sound of keyboards clicking away. Darya Ganj is known for its book markets and busy streets, so there’s always something happening outside the door. We don't have a big sign or a fancy lobby. Most people who come here are either staff or delivery guys bringing lunch. The work can be repetitive, but it’s important to get it right so people don't lose their bookings. We have a small team, and we’ve all gotten pretty used to the quirks of this old neighborhood. Sometimes it gets really hot in the summer, and the fans have to work overtime. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in Delhi; we just focus on keeping the data straight and staying on top of the daily logs. It’s a bit cramped, but we make it work every single day without fail.
