Punjab Grill Restaurant, Gurgaon By Ziggs Kalra

This is the Punjab Grill Restaurant spot, but we are actually over at C-389 in Modipon Colony, Modinagar. It’s a bit of a different vibe than Gurgaon, even if the name says Gurgaon. We are connected to the Ziggs Kalra brand. Our place in Modinagar is where a lot of the planning and behind-the-scenes stuff happens. The colony is a quiet residential area. We have our office set up in one of the buildings there. It’s not a restaurant where you come to eat dinner at this specific address. It’s more of the management side of things. We talk about food and menus all day long. Sometimes we have to travel back and forth to Gurgaon to check on things. Modinagar is much slower than the big city. We like the pace here. The office is full of cookbooks and papers. We have a small kitchen where we test things out sometimes. The air smells like spices when we are working on new ideas. It is a family feel here. We don't wear suits or anything like that. Just regular clothes. We drink a lot of tea and talk about how to make the food taste better. It is a lot of hard work but we enjoy it. Modipon Colony is a nice place to be based. It’s away from the usual city chaos and we like that.
