Presently Not Working

I am set up inside the HEWO Apartments in Sector 15, Phase 2 of Gurgaon. It’s a typical residential complex, so there are always kids playing outside or people washing their cars in the mornings. I’m in House 124, which is easy enough to find once you get past the main gate security. The apartment itself is pretty quiet during the day since most people are off at their regular jobs. I set up my space in the back room where the light is better. It’s funny because the name Presently Not Working makes people think I’m just lounging around, but I’m usually glued to my laptop from nine to five. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the ceiling fan makes a clicking sound on high speed, but it’s home. Gurgaon has changed so much since I first moved here, but this little corner of Sector 15 feels mostly the same. I usually walk down to the local market if I need a pen or some snacks. There isn't a big sign outside or anything like that. It’s just a regular home where I happen to get my work done. Sometimes the neighbors pop by to borrow something, and we chat for a bit on the landing. It’s a simple way to live and work without all the stress of a commute or a boss breathing down your neck. It’s not a fancy office, but it works for what I need to do.
