Gurusons Communications Pvt Ltd is situated at 263 in Udyog Vihar Phase 1. This part of town is mostly industrial buildings and lots of people commuting in and out every morning. Our building is a standard concrete structure, nothing that really stands out from the rest of the offices on the street. Inside, we have rows of desks and a lot of wires for the communication equipment we handle. It can get pretty cluttered when a new shipment arrives and we have boxes sitting in the hallway for a few days before they get moved. The lighting is those long fluorescent tubes that hum a little bit if you listen closely when the room is quiet. We spend a lot of time on the phone or working on the hardware at our stations. There is a small kitchen area where we keep the kettle and some sugar, but it’s usually just used for quick tea breaks during the afternoon. The view from the window is just another building across the way. We’ve got a couple of plants near the entrance that someone forgets to water sometimes, so they look a bit sad. The traffic around here can be a real headache in the evenings when everyone is trying to leave, so most of us try to finish up and head out right on time. It’s a decent place to work and the people here are mostly just focused on getting their daily tasks finished without any drama or unnecessary meetings.
