Our office is over in Kishori Bhawan, right in the Collector Ganj area of Kanpur. If you know the neighborhood, it's pretty active with all the shops and traders around. We’ve been at 73/27 for a good bit of time. It’s a bit of an old building, but it has character. Most mornings start with a lot of noise from the street outside. We handle a lot of travel stuff, mostly helping people get from one place to another. It’s not always easy with all the changes in tickets and prices, but we stay on top of it. The desk is usually piled with papers and some old files. We use the phone a lot to call airlines and hotels. Sometimes the power goes out, which is just Kanpur for you, so we sit and wait for the generator to kick in. It’s a small team here. We know each other's families and what everyone likes for lunch. We aren't trying to be some giant global corporation; we just focus on the people who walk through our door. Collector Ganj is a busy spot, so there’s always something happening. We keep the place tidy enough, though the files sometimes get a bit messy. It’s just how we work. It’s a practical space for practical work. We’ve helped a lot of neighbors plan their trips over the years.
