Pizza Hut

Pizza Hut here in Mahipalpur is located at number 49. If you know New Delhi, you know Mahipalpur is always packed with people and cars because it’s so close to the airport. Our shop is right in the middle of all that chaos. We spend our days mostly around the ovens, and it gets pretty hot in the kitchen, especially during the summer months when the air is thick. It’s a busy spot, with a lot of people just passing through or staying in the nearby hotels for a night. We aren't doing anything fancy here; we just make the dough, top the pizzas, and get them into the boxes as fast as we can. The staff here is a small group, and we’ve all been working together for a bit, so we have our own way of doing things that works for us. The noise from the street is constant, but you get used to it after a while. We see a lot of different faces every day, from travelers to locals who live just around the corner. It’s not like those quiet restaurants you see in movies. It’s loud, fast, and sometimes a bit messy when the rush hits in the evening. We just try to keep the orders moving and make sure nobody is waiting too long. It’s a basic job, but it keeps us on our toes and the day goes by pretty fast when you’re busy with the lunch and dinner crowds.
