Running Pahuja Airconditioning & Batteries in Gurgaon keeps us moving all day long. We are located over in Sector 56, right near Sohna Road, which is always packed with cars. In the summer months, it’s absolute chaos here. Everyone’s AC seems to stop working at the same time, and they all call us at once. We spend most of our time out on our bikes, carrying toolkits and climbing up to rooftops. It’s hot and exhausting work, but it pays the bills. When we aren't fixing cooling units, we are dealing with batteries. People need them for their cars or for the power backups at home when the lights go out. The shop floor is usually covered in heavy battery casings and wires. We have a small desk in the corner, but nobody really sits there for long. Sometimes the traffic on Sohna Road makes it hard for us to get to our appointments on time, but we try our best. It’s just a few of us working together. We don’t have a big office or anything, just this shop in Sector 56 where we keep all the spare parts. Sometimes we run out of a specific fuse or a brand of battery and have to wait for the delivery guy. It’s just the way things go in this business. We’ve been here a few years now and know the local streets well enough to get around the jams.
