Oasis Electronic is basically just me and a few benches covered in soldering irons and old television parts. I didn't put a long address because everyone in the area knows where the shop is. It’s a bit of a mess, honestly. I have boards and components piled up in corners and I probably should organize them one of these days. People bring in all sorts of gadgets that have stopped working. Sometimes it's a quick fix and sometimes it sits on the shelf for a month while I wait for a part to arrive. It’s not a high-tech lab. It’s more of a workshop where things get repaired. The lighting isn't great, but I have a good desk lamp. I’ve been fixing electronics for a long time now. It’s what I know how to do. I don't have a website or anything like that. People just show up with a broken radio or a remote and we talk about it. I usually have the radio playing in the background while I work. It gets a bit lonely sometimes, but the work keeps me occupied. I try to keep the prices fair because I know people don't have a lot of extra cash. If I can't fix it, I’ll tell you straight. I don't like wasting anyone's time. It’s a small life but it’s mine. Just a guy in a shop surrounded by wires and the smell of hot solder. Most days I’m here until quite late.
