We’ve set up our office for Gupta & Sons in Civil Lines, tucked away near the Hotel Ramada. It’s a good location because Rajeev Chowk is right there and Medicity Hospital is just a stone’s throw away. It means we’re always in the middle of the action. People often ask why we chose this spot, and the truth is, it’s just convenient for everyone. We’ve been running this for a long time now. It’s a family thing, so there’s a lot of history behind what we do. We aren’t interested in being some big corporate entity with a hundred layers of management. When you talk to us, you’re usually talking to one of the family members directly. We handle things personally. Some days the phones don't stop ringing and the office feels a bit cramped with all the documents, but we manage to stay on top of it. We like the pace of this area. There’s always someone new walking by or a regular dropping in for a quick chat and a cup of tea. We don’t use fancy scripts or try to sell people things they don't need. We just offer what we have and try to be helpful. Being near Rajeev Chowk keeps us on our toes. It’s a practical, no-nonsense way to run a business. We focus on the daily tasks and make sure the work gets done right. That’s really all there is to it for us in the end. We just keep going.
