Nitika Tours & Travel is tucked away in Sushant Lok Phase I, specifically at 237 H. It’s a residential-feeling area which makes the office feel a bit more relaxed than the city center. We’ve been working out of this space for some time, and it has a bit of a lived-in feel to it. There’s a small garden area nearby that we see from the window. Inside, it’s mostly desks, computers, and the sound of keyboards tapping away. We spend our hours sorting out travel itineraries and talking to people about their holiday plans. It’s a lot of back-and-forth communication. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook, and other times it’s quiet enough to actually finish a cup of coffee while it’s still hot. We have some old posters of different countries on the walls, just to fill the space. The filing cabinets are a bit jammed, but we know where everything is. Working in Sushant Lok is nice because it’s not as chaotic as the main markets. We just come in, do the work, and make sure people get where they need to go. It’s a small operation, really. Just a few of us making sure the details are right. We don't spend much time on fancy decorations or anything like that. We just focus on the travel documents and making sure the bookings are confirmed. It’s a quiet but busy life here and we like the routine we have established over the years.
