Our office is in Ankur Bhawan, which is located at Mata Chowk in the Rangpuri area, right near Mahipalpur. It’s a very busy part of New Delhi, especially being so close to the airport road. You can always hear the planes taking off if you listen closely. We are an outsourced branch for Ericsson India, so we handle specific tasks that get sent our way. The building itself, Ankur Bhawan, is a typical Delhi structure with a lot of different businesses tucked inside. It can get a bit dusty with all the construction and traffic nearby, but that’s just life in this part of the city. Our space isn't huge, but we have enough room for the team to get their work done. We have a lot of cables and equipment lying around because of the nature of the work. Most of us have been working together for a while, so we have a good rhythm going. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a receptionist; you usually just walk in and find someone at their desk. We spend a lot of time on the phone or troubleshooting things on our screens. It’s a practical, no-nonsense environment. We just try to stay focused on the work and get things finished on time. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s important work and we take it seriously in our own quiet way. We've got a small kettle for tea and that's basically our only luxury.
