Our place is located in the Indira Nagar Extension area of Varanasi. It's a bit away from the main chaotic parts of the city, which is nice for a change. The building stands out a bit in this neighborhood. We have a team of people here who look after the rooms and the guests who stay with us. It’s a busy job because Varanasi always has visitors coming through. The lobby has some seats where people wait for their keys or their taxis. We spend a lot of time cleaning and making sure things are in order. Sometimes the power goes out, which is common around here, but we have a backup generator that kicks in. It makes a bit of a humming sound. Our staff mostly lives nearby, so they know the local area well. We can tell you where to find the best street food or which rickshaw drivers are fair. The rooms are basic but they have what you need for a night or two. We don't have a big marketing team or anything. Most people find us through word of mouth or by just driving past. It’s a local business through and through. We try to keep the atmosphere friendly and not too stiff. You might see some of us drinking tea out front during our breaks. It’s just how things are at our spot in Indira Nagar.
