Even though we have Gurgaon in the name, this specific office for Makemytrip.Com is actually over at A 42 Indra Vihar in New Delhi. It’s a bit of a residential area, so it’s not your typical high-rise office building. We’ve been set up here for some time now. The street can be a bit narrow, so parking is always a bit of a struggle for anyone coming by. Inside, the space is pretty simple. We have our computers and some chairs, and that’s about it. Most of what we do is digital anyway, so we don't need much. It’s a lot of typing and looking at screens all day long. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist to greet people. Usually, it’s just one of us looking up from a desk if someone walks in. We know the neighbors and the local shopkeepers quite well by now. It feels more like being part of a community than being in a business district. Sometimes we work late when there’s a lot to do, especially during the travel seasons. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s steady and we like the people we work with. We don't use big words or try to act like we’re something we aren't. We just handle the travel details and try to keep things organized from our little spot in Indra Vihar. It's a bit cramped, but we make it work every day.
