We are based in Gurgaon, which everyone knows is the place to be if you’re doing any kind of business these days. It’s a city that never really seems to stop, with all the high-rise buildings and the constant construction going on everywhere you look. Our office at Makemytrip.Com is right in the thick of it. We spend a lot of our time looking at travel dates and prices on our screens while the traffic crawls along the highway outside our window. Gurgaon can be a bit overwhelming with the heat and the dust, but there’s an energy here that you don't find in other places. We don't have a fancy address with a house number, just being in the heart of this city is enough for people to find us. The office is full of the sound of typing and people talking on headsets. We don't really do much in the way of ceremonies or big meetings; we just try to get the flights and hotels booked for people who are looking to go somewhere nicer than a cubicle. It’s a lot of coordination and making sure the details are right. Sometimes we stay late when there’s a lot to do, and the city lights at night are something else. We’ve been here for a long time and we’ve seen Gurgaon turn into what it is today from just a small town.
