We are over at E-90/A Palam Colony, Rajnagar 2 in New Delhi. The name on the door is Makemytrip India Pvt. Ltd, but this specific spot is just our local branch in the 110045 area. It is a pretty tight space with a lot of stuff going on at once. Being in Palam Colony means it's almost always crowded right outside the entrance. We have people coming in with all sorts of travel issues and questions. Some want to go back to their village for a festival, and others are planning a trip to the mountains. We just sit at our desks and try to find whatever is available in the system. The office isn't anything special to look at. We’ve got some old travel posters on the walls that have started to curl at the edges. The street noise from Rajnagar 2 is a constant thing we just ignore now. We’ve got a few computers that we’ve been using for years. Sometimes we have to explain the booking process a few times to people who aren't comfortable with computers. It is just part of the daily routine. New Delhi is a very fast-paced city, but in this little corner of Palam, things feel a bit more local and grounded. We know the shopkeepers nearby and the person who sells tea on the corner. We don't use fancy talk or complicated presentations. We just open the screen and see what can be done.
