We are located in Sikandar Pur in Gurgaon, right in the thick of things. If you have ever been through this area, you know how busy the streets can get, especially with the metro station being so close by. Our spot is at 122001 and it stays pretty active from morning until late at night. The noise from the street is something you just get used to after a few days of working here. It’s a mix of people rushing to catch trains and local vendors selling snacks. Inside, we have our setup which is quite simple. We spend a lot of our time prepping things and making sure everything is where it needs to be. The floors are stone and they stay relatively cool even when it’s boiling outside. We have a small back room where we keep our extra supplies and take our breaks. It’s not a huge space, so we have to be careful about not letting the clutter get out of hand. The light in the afternoons is quite bright coming through the front windows, so we usually have to pull the shades down halfway. Working in Sikandar Pur means you are always in the middle of the action, which can be tiring but it also makes the time go by very quickly. We aren't big on formal meetings or anything like that; we just talk across the room when something needs to be done. It’s a very straightforward way of doing things.
