You’ll find Mahalakshmi Overseas at S102 on Sohna Road, right in the Uppal Southend area of Gurgaon. It’s a good spot to be in, even if the traffic on Sohna Road can be a bit much during the rush hour. Our office is on the first floor of the building. It’s a functional space with just the right amount of room for our small team to work comfortably. We handle a lot of international trade, so our days are filled with paperwork and logistics. We aren't a high-pressure corporate office. We like to keep things relaxed and just get through our tasks. There’s usually a stack of files on every desk and a few half-empty tea cups laying around. We don’t have any polished mission statements or flashy decorations on the walls. We just have our calendars and our maps. Haryana is a great place to do business, and we’ve been lucky to be here for so long. We know the local porters and the courier guys by name. It’s a steady kind of life, and we don't try to make it sound like more than it is. Most of our day is just making sure things get from point A to point B without any hiccups. We’ve survived power cuts and monsoon rains, and we’re still here doing our thing.
