Our setup for Lafarge Boral Gypsum India Pvt.Ltd. is based in Sector 31, Gurgaon. If you know the area, you know Hewo Apartment is where a lot of people live and work. We are in unit 135. It feels more like a home than a big corporate office because it is inside an apartment complex. We have desks set up in the main rooms and we spend most of the day on the phone or working on the computers. Gurgaon is always busy and noisy, but once you get inside the apartment gates, it gets a bit quieter. There are some trees around the building which helps with the heat, though the air conditioning is usually running during the day. We have a small kitchen area where we make our own coffee and lunch when we don't feel like going out. It is not a place with a big lobby or a receptionist at the front. You just come in and see us working right there. The parking in Sector 31 can be a bit of a headache sometimes, so we usually tell people to find a spot early in the morning. We deal with all the gypsum logistics from here. It is a bit cramped when we have a lot of samples lying around the floor, but we make it work. Most of us have been working here together for a long time, so we know how each other likes to handle the daily tasks. It is just a normal place.
