K S Battery & Inverter is located right at Sohna Chowk, specifically on Gurdwara Road 2. If you know the area, you know how much traffic passes through that intersection every single day. Being in such a busy spot means we get a lot of dust, so we are constantly cleaning the inventory. Dealing with batteries and inverters is heavy work. We spend a lot of our time moving crates around and making sure everything is charged up and ready. The shop itself is pretty functional. We don’t have fancy displays or air conditioning that works all the time. It is a practical space for practical items. Most of our customers come to us when they are having a bit of a crisis, like when their car won’t start or the power goes out at home during a heatwave. We just try to get them what they need without making a big fuss about it. The floor is usually a bit scuffed from moving the lead-acid batteries around, and there is always some equipment sitting on the workbench. We have been at this Sohna Chowk location for a while now, and we know most of the other shopkeepers nearby. We often grab a cup of tea from the stall across the road while we wait for the next person to stop by. It isn't a glamorous job, but it is steady. We just show up, do the work, and head home when the day is done.
