Job

Up in Budhathum -6, Dhading, our small operation known as Job is part of the Bagmati region in Nepal. It is a long way from the big cities, situated where things move a lot slower than in Kathmandu. We operate out of a small building that has been part of this community for years. The air is clear up here, and you can see the big hills right from the doorway. We do not have a lot of the high-tech equipment you might find in the city, but we have what we need to get by. Most of our work is local, just helping people in the area with whatever they need. It is a simple life, and the office reflects that. We have a couple of wooden desks, some old chairs, and a lot of paper notebooks piled up. People from the village often drop by just to say hello or ask a question about something. We do not have a website or any big marketing plans; we just rely on people knowing who we are and where to find us in Budhathum. The weather can be a bit unpredictable, and sometimes we have to close up early if the rain gets too heavy or the fog rolls in. It is a quiet life, mostly focused on the daily tasks at hand. We like it this way because we are part of the place we live in. There is no corporate talk here, just plain conversation and helping each other out.
