We are tucked away in Cariappa Vihar, which is inside the Delhi Cantt area. It’s a bit different being based in a residential-looking block like House Number 304 instead of a big glass airport building. The neighborhood is much quieter because it’s a military zone. You see a lot of green trees and tidy roads around here, which is nice compared to the rest of New Delhi. Our daily life involves managing things for the airline, even if we aren't at the terminal. There’s a lot of coordination needed behind the scenes. We spend hours on the phone and checking flight data on our screens. The office space is practical and we don't have any fancy decorations. It’s mostly just desks, chairs, and filing cabinets. Sometimes the birds outside are louder than the people in the office. Working in Block 15 means we have a bit of a commute if we live outside the Cantt, but the peace and quiet makes it worth it. We deal with a lot of logistics and technical details that most people don't think about when they see a plane in the sky. It’s just us doing our part in a very long chain of events. When the weather gets bad, the phones start ringing more, and we have to stay late to sort things out. It’s a steady kind of job with a lot of responsibility, even if our office feels like a normal house in a quiet street.
