People often ask where we are located, and we just tell them to look for the area near Fazilpur in Jharsa. It is a busy spot in Gurgaon but feels a bit tucked away from all the main shiny glass buildings you see everywhere else. Most of us get here quite early because the local roads get crowded with traffic later in the morning. We spend a lot of time sitting at these desks. It is not a very big space, but it gets the job done for Jet Airways. There is a small tea stall nearby that everyone goes to around eleven for a break. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but nobody really cares as long as the daily work is moving. We handle things here day in and day out. Sometimes the air conditioner makes a weird clicking noise, but we have all gotten used to it. The windows look out onto the street where you see cows and cars all mixed together. It is just a normal office life in Haryana. We keep track of many things and the phones ring quite a bit. Usually, it is quietest on Friday afternoons when everyone is looking forward to going home. We do not have fancy furniture or anything. Just some sturdy chairs and old desks. We have been in this part of Gurgaon for a while now and know the local rickshaw drivers by name. It is simple.
