Jayna Book Depot

Jayna Book Depot is located over at Plot No. 30-31 on Street No. 2. We are right by Atul Kataria Chowk, near where Rakesh Automobiles is. Most people in this part of Gurgaon know the landmark. Our shop is pretty packed with books and stationery. It’s not one of those huge, shiny bookstores you see in the malls. It’s more of a local spot where students and parents come to find what they need for school or work. We have stacks of books everywhere, and sometimes it takes us a minute to find exactly what someone is looking for. The shelves are high and the aisles are narrow. We spend a lot of time dusting the covers and organizing the new arrivals that come in. It can get really crowded during the start of the school season, but the rest of the year is more manageable. We’ve been here for quite some time now. The street outside is always humming with cars and bikes going past. We know most of our regular customers by name. It’s just a simple bookshop. We don't have a website or anything like that; people just come in and browse. Sometimes they stay for a while just looking through the titles. It’s a bit old-fashioned, but it works for us and the people around here. We just keep the doors open.
