J V Tools Centre is out on the Hsidc Road in Sector 18. It’s a bit of an industrial area, so there are always trucks moving and machines humming nearby. Our place is pretty straightforward. We have a lot of heavy tools and equipment parts. The walls are lined with metal shelves that have seen better days. It’s not a place where you’d come to browse; it’s a place where you come because you need a specific tool for a job. We spend a lot of time checking lists and making sure we have what people ordered. The floor is concrete and usually has some scuff marks from moving heavy boxes. We don't have air conditioning, just a few big fans that move the air around. It gets pretty dusty out here in Sector 18. We’ve been operating from this spot for quite a few years now. Most of our customers are from the nearby factories or workshops. They don't want a long chat; they just want their items so they can get back to work. We try to be helpful, even if we are a bit blunt sometimes. It’s a busy environment and we don’t have much time for fluff. We just keep the door open and stay ready. If we don’t have something, we usually know who does. That’s just how things work on Hsidc Road. It’s simple and we like it that way for the business.
