Itc - Hotels Division C.H.Q.

The ITC Hotels Division office is tucked away in Lajpat Nagar III. We are in Flat No 03 in the I-1 block. It is a very busy neighborhood in New Delhi, and finding a place to park your car is almost impossible most days of the week. The flat is on one of the lower floors, so we do not have to climb too many steps to get to work. Inside, it is filled with files and some old wooden furniture. It does not feel like a luxury hotel at all, which is a bit funny considering the name of the company. It is more like a place where people sit and type all day long. We have a small kitchen area where we make our own tea and coffee. The market nearby is great for getting snacks, but it gets very crowded in the afternoons. Sometimes the street noise comes right through the windows, especially the constant honking from the main road. We just get on with our tasks. The lighting is a bit dim in some of the corners, but we have lamps on our desks. It is a very lived-in space. There are stacks of paper everywhere and the printer seems to jam at least once a day. We have been here for a long time and the landlord is a nice guy. It is just our little corner of Delhi.
