Infodesk India

The office for Infodesk India is tucked away in Bhim Ghard Khari Part -2, right near the railway station in Gurgaon. You can hear the trains passing by quite often, which is something you just get used to after a week or two. Our house number is 495/1, and it’s a bit of a walk from the main road. Most days start with turning on all the computers and waiting for the systems to boot up. It gets quite hot in Gurgaon, so we usually have the fans running full speed as soon as we walk in. We spend a lot of time looking at screens and typing. It’s a quiet place for the most part, except for the noise from the station. We eat lunch together at our desks or sometimes go out to the small stalls nearby for a quick bite. There isn't any fancy decor here, just practical furniture and some old files stacked in the corner. Sometimes the dust from the construction nearby gets inside, so we are always wiping down the keyboards. It’s a small team of us working here. We don't really have big meetings or anything, we just talk across the room if we need something. Being so close to the station makes it easy for some of the staff to get home, but the traffic around here can be a real headache in the evenings. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
