This particular spot is at Quarter Number 02/5 in the Wapti Enclave, which is part of the Air Force Station on Sohna Road in Gurgaon. The enclave is a residential patch where families live, so there are kids playing and people walking their dogs in the evenings. Living and working here means you follow a certain rhythm. The gates are guarded, and you need your ID ready every time you come through. The buildings are built in that standard way you see at most stations—sturdy and functional, painted in light colors. Sohna Road is always busy outside, but once you get inside the station, the noise drops off a lot. We have a lot of green space around the quarters, which is rare for Gurgaon these days. The office work happens in the nearby blocks, and it’s mostly about keeping records and managing the daily tasks of the station. It’s a community where everyone understands the rules. You won’t find any fancy lounges or modern art here. It’s just rows of quarters, well-kept gardens, and the usual military discipline. We spend our days making sure everything is running according to the schedule. It’s a quiet life behind the perimeter fence, far removed from the mall culture of the city.
