This place is Smq-83/4 in Safed Sagar. We are part of the Vayu Sena Vatika area which is right off Sohna Road in Gurgaon. The postcode is 122001. It is a specific kind of environment here. People are always coming and going because of the nature of the work. You see a lot of uniforms around. It is not like a regular business office you would find in the middle of the city. There is a sense of order to things, even if it feels a bit old-fashioned sometimes. The buildings have that sturdy look to them. We spend a lot of time handling the day-to-day stuff that keeps things moving. Sohna Road is usually packed with cars, but once you get inside the gates here, it feels a bit different. More quiet in some ways. We don't really do much in the way of advertising or anything like that. We just exist as part of the system. There are trees around the vatika that give some shade when it gets really sunny. Most of us have been here for a while and we know the shortcuts around the base. It’s a practical place. We have our desks, our schedules, and the regular tasks that need finishing. It is just life on the base. We don't need any fancy words to describe what we do here every day. We just show up and do our bit for the collective effort.
