Ibis Hotel

We are over here at 149/11 Pratap Nagar in Gurgaon. Most people around Haryana know this area gets pretty busy, but we just keep doing our thing. It's an Ibis Hotel, so you might have seen the name elsewhere, but here it’s just us working every day. The street can be a bit noisy sometimes with the traffic, that's just how it is in this part of town. We’ve been at this address for a bit now. We don't really do the big fancy speeches. We just open the doors and get to work. My cousin used to live nearby and said the neighborhood has changed a lot, but we stayed put. It's a practical spot if you're passing through Haryana. We don't try to be anything we aren't. Sometimes the weather gets really hot and the lobby is where everyone hangs out. We know the neighbors and they know us. It’s a straightforward setup. If you walk down the road a bit, there are a few shops. We just try to keep things clean and make sure the lights are on. It’s not a complicated operation, just a hotel in a busy part of Gurgaon where people come and go. We’ve seen a lot of guests over the years, some staying for a night and others for longer. It’s just how life goes here on Pratap Nagar. We have a few staff who have been here since the start. They usually know who is coming and going. It’s just a regular place, nothing too wild happens. We keep the keys behind the desk and try to remember everyone's face. We're just glad to be part of the local community.
