Hotel The Bristol

We are over at Flat No.- 1003 in the UF Apartment building, which is on Plot No-9 in Dwarka Sector-6. It might seem a bit unusual for a hotel business to be in an apartment flat, but this is where we do all our management and office work. Dwarka is a nice, planned part of New Delhi, so it’s a bit quieter than the center of the city. We are up on the tenth floor. The office is basically just a regular flat that we’ve put some desks and computers into. It’s a bit cozy, and honestly, it gets a little crowded when we are all here at once. We handle bookings and talk to guests from this spot. We don't have a big reception area or a lobby like you’d see in a proper hotel building. It’s just us working through our lists and making sure everything is running okay at the actual hotel sites. The kitchen in the flat is where we all gather for lunch. Most of the people who live in the building know us by now. We don't have any loud music or flashy signs outside. It’s a very low-key operation. We like it this way because it’s simple and we can focus on what we need to do. It’s a very local way of doing things, and we don’t feel the need to act like a big corporation. We just take it day by day.
